 After entering into to many firsts, facts and figures about digital world, its time to sneak peek into another aspect called the Audience behaviour about the digital marketing in India.

 How this phenomena called (Digital Marketing) effected India?

 Digital Marketing has also shown its immense impact in India too but as a marketer it is very important to deal and understand how the audience react to certain changes in the wide Digital Grid.

Yes! you guessed it right India with open hands accepted the Digital World and as of now our very action depicts that are lives revolve around the huge Digital Grid be it Sending Snap Streaks, Promotion of your brand on various social media platforms, Being an Instagram influencer etc. 

There are 700 Million Internet users in India as of 2020. Surprisingly Population of USA is 331 Million and of Canada is 37.81 Million. 

Digital Trend in India is different in respect of areas like Urban & Rural India. (See Picture for better understanding).

With 265 Million internet users, rural India is not only catching up the pace with urban India but it is also bridging the gap of time spent on internet, frequency, female internet users and mode of access. 

448.2 million people in India have access to the internet via Mobile. But this isn't really surprising!!. Everyone person whether it be a CEO, student, teacher and even the vendor have access to internet. This can only be possible due to advent of Digital Marketing and pocket-friendly internet plans available in India which has allowed even the rural India population to access the internet on daily basis.

With all this figures discussed above one can easily conclude that digital marketing is here to stay and grow in a very fast pace.

The audience Behaviour is quite captivating as most users use the internet to do online communication on well known app called Whatsapp. With this more and more people are getting added to this virtual world very single day.

But what about the other side of the coin ,close to 70% of the rural population still does not have access to the internet or you can say they don't have tasted the advantage of this huge Digital World. Have you ever thought why?

We are in country with 1380 million population out of which we have only 700 million internet users. Ever wonder why there is a gap? 

Lack of knowledge, lack of means and age-old beliefs are the main reasons behind this gap. 94% of rural people does not have computer and a significant number of households are digitally illiterate. There are some people both in urban and rural area which still believe that internet is just a waste of time. As you must have seen parents saying "Uff yeh aaj kal ke baache." as they haven't been aware about the power of internet. But in rural India things are slightly different, people have an urge to access the internet but when asked why they don't use it , they say-Bijli nhi hai, connection nhi h, cheez hamare bhasha mei nhi h" and a lot more which is extremely true upto a certain extend. This gap will go higher but something is better than nothing.

We all reached a point where internet is our survivor for everything and we as an audience have a positive behaviour towards the digital world.
